Ohn No Kauk Swe is a beloved Burmese dish made with tender chicken, silky noodles, and a rich coconut broth. Inspired by Shan flavors, this comforting meal is often enjoyed for breakfast but is just as satisfying any time of day. Itβs a dish that brings warmth, tradition, and family together in every bowl.
Ingredients
- to taste 2 packs (15 oz each) Chinese egg noodles
- to taste 3.5 lbs bone in chicken drumsticks
- to taste 400 ml coconut milk
- to taste 250 ml sugar
- to taste 5 shallots
- to taste 8 small red onions
- to taste 5 cloves garlic
- to taste 5 duck eggs (or regular eggs)
- to taste 150 g chickpea flour
- to taste 1 bunch cilantro
- to taste 3 limes
- to taste 250 ml roasted chili flakes
- to taste 4 tablespoons salt
